Join OCLC and three public librarians as they discuss the changing role of public libraries. While public libraries continue to be just-in-time life-long learning centers for individuals in their communities, public libraries have rapidly moved to a central role on larger social issues within their communities, a role they play both within and beyond the walls of the library. What does this look like and what are the implications of this expanded role? How do public libraries handle change management: how do they effectively lead change both for staff and the communities they serve.
